Event Creation Wizard

Four steps. That’s all it takes to go from “I’m planning an event” to a fully loaded dashboard with tasks, timelines, and budget templates ready to go.

Choose from 7 event types: Wedding, Corporate, Birthday, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16, Baby Shower, or General. Each type loads a tailored set of task templates — so you’re not starting from scratch.

Enter your event name, date, location, expected guests, and budget. Only name and date are required — fill in the rest whenever you’re ready.

Browse the suggested tasks for your event type, grouped by category. All tasks are selected by default — deselect any you don’t need.

Review everything and hit create. Your event gets a full dashboard with tasks organized into milestone groups (Foundation, Invitations & Coordination, Final Prep, Post-Event).

Each event type comes with curated task templates including:

  • Name and description for the task
  • Category (venue, catering, decor, etc.)
  • Priority (high, medium, low)
  • Typical timeline (days before/after event)
  • Milestone group for organization
  • Tasks are deduplicated by name — re-applying templates won’t create duplicates
  • Task groups are deduplicated by event + name — existing groups are reused

The wizard is fully translated in English and Hebrew.
